DeckPort troubleshooting

The status bar at the bottom of the plugin reports every step and every failure. Start there.

The slides are in the wrong order

Check the Slide order setting. By frame name needs names that sort: "Slide 1" to "Slide 12" works, "Cover", "Agenda", "Close" sorts alphabetically. If the frames sit in a grid on the canvas, choose By canvas position. If you dragged them into order in the layers panel, choose By layer order.

A slide is letterboxed or has bars

That frame has a different aspect ratio from the first frame, which sets the slide size. The plugin never stretches, it centers. Make all frames the same ratio, or put the frame with the ratio you want first.

"Decks of more than 5 slides needs Pro"

The free tier exports up to 5 slides per deck. Export in parts, or activate Pro.

Speaker notes did not appear

The notes come from a text layer inside the frame named exactly notes or Speaker notes (case does not matter). The frame's description field is not used. Speaker notes is a Pro option and must be ticked before export. In PowerPoint open the Notes pane; in Keynote, Presenter Notes; Google Slides shows them under the slide.

Links are Pro and must be ticked before export. Slide jumps need a prototype "Navigate to" interaction pointing at a frame that is part of the same export. URL links need a hyperlink on the text layer or an "Open URL" prototype action. Links on hidden layers are dropped. Google Slides does not import PPTX hyperlinks on pictures reliably; PowerPoint and Keynote do.

The file is large

Slides at 3x are big images. Use 2x for most decks, or choose JPEG slides (Pro) with a quality around 80, which usually cuts the file to a third. PDF output compresses better than PPTX for the same images.

The export stops or takes long

Each frame is rendered by Figma, which is the slow part for large frames. The status line counts progress. If it stops with an error naming a frame, that frame could not be rendered; check it for a missing font or an enormous size and export the rest.

Text is not editable in PowerPoint

By design. Each slide is a picture of the frame, which is why nothing ever looks different from the design. Edit in Figma and re-export.

Keynote or Google Slides shows something different

Both apps open the PPTX correctly. Google Slides caps imported images at 1600 pixels wide, so very high-resolution slides look softer there than in PowerPoint; export at 2x rather than 3x for Slides.
